Taking as a starting point a photo of Sarah Sjöström, this series of paintings depicts the decisive moment of her jump into the water, celebrating the beauty of the moving body and the transformative power of facing the unknown with strength and passion. The swimmer does not dive into calm waters, but into seas of agitated paint, stains that vibrate with energy and emotion. Each brushstroke and color evokes the adrenaline of competition, but also the joy and adventure of surrendering to the moment.
