With a wealth of controls at your fingertips, you’ll navigate new seas of sonic experimentation and musical innovation. The standard three-band EQ lets you shape each frequency with precision and perfection. The frequency switch is dedicated to the midrange, changing its center frequency for a unique and distinctive set of voicings. There’s also the nine-band EQ, which lets you tune your tone with even greater precision. You’ll be able to see exactly which frequency range you’re controlling, and note your adjustments accordingly. You can also use this nine-band EQ section as a second channel, using a footswitch to switch between the two — perfect for bass solos. Then there’s the gain dial to add overdrive and distortion. You can also use the bass/treble boosters to further emphasize the different frequencies. With such versatile and powerful controls, your bass lines will surely evolve and flourish as you discover the sonic potential of this amplifier. Tube power There’s nothing better. The tubes in the preamplifier add an organic, authentic feel to the amp’s tone, yielding a rich, warm, and powerful sound that will surprise you. An exclusive tube gain control lets you manipulate the sound of these tubes, which consist of three 12AX7 in the preamplifier, and 12AX7 and 12AU7 in the driver. Coupled with 450W of power, this makes the sound incredibly powerful and ceiling-breaking.
