Todas las subastas / Etnográfica / ALPINO, GREEN FLUORITE CUBES
From our selection of collectible minerals, we propose an aesthetic group of Fluorite crystals from the Vignola Mine, in Trentino-Alto Adige. Moreover, it is characterized by well-formed cubic crystals, with the typical green color and bluish reflections, arranged in an aggregated way on a matrix and endowed with good transparency, along with fluorescence reported by the seller—elements that enhance its aesthetic value and mineralogical significance. The specimen stands out for the quality of crystallization and for the overall aesthetic balance, with features that highlight its natural structure and visual impact. Fluorite derives its name from the Latin 'fluere' (to flow), due to its historical use as a flux in metallurgy. The green color, like that of many Alpine specimens, is often linked to lattice defects and traces of elements such as rare earths or to natural irradiation phenomena over geological time. The Vignola Mine, near Vignola-Falesina in Trentino, is a historic fluorite locality in Alpine veins, known to collectors for well-formed cubic crystals and often fluorescent under UV light. This is an ideal specimen for mineral collections, display, and for those who appreciate the natural beauty of minerals, also in the context of crystal therapy and lithotherapy, according to the properties traditionally associated with the mineral species. All minerals are 100% natural and untreated, with rare exceptions always noted in the description. The photographs are taken with professional lighting to best enhance colors and details; however, slight tonal variations may occur depending on the device or ambient light. Shipping is carried out via reliable express couriers and selected, with fast delivery (in many cases 1-2 working days in Europe), tracked and insured shipping and professional, safe packaging, as confirmed by customer reviews.
