His instantly recognizable style, characterized by elegant female figures, flowing lines, ornamental halos, and rich botanical motifs, has become synonymous with fin-de-siècle Paris and the rise of graphic art as a collectible discipline. Mucha’s works enjoy lasting international demand, with high prices for posters, lithographs and decorative panels, appealing just as much to fine art lovers, design enthusiasts and interior stylists. From a market and collection perspective, Mucha sits alongside other highly sought-after names in modern and decorative art, such as Gustav Klimt, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Egon Schiele and Aubrey Beardsley, while also resonating with collectors of broader modern and contemporary icons such as Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Keith Haring, Banksy and Jeff Koons.
