Signed handwritten letter of 3 pages on 2 double-sided sheets. - The writer responds to a letter from his correspondent concerning a delicate situation involving Mrs. Andoly and Mr. de Vaulabelle. - He recalls his past ties with Mr. de Vaulabelle, whom he had known in Nice around 1870 before losing sight of him.
