Alfonso Sánchez - Bird, flower and plane - XXL

Description of the work “Bird, flower and plane” Original, unique work. Mixed media (acrylic, pigments, oil stick, charcoal, pencil, pastels, India ink and gesso) on canvas. Painted from free improvisation with the music of the LA Woman album by The Doors. Different interpretations of the song's lyrics end up appearing somehow in the story of the painting. A story of the past and of the present. The unknown, what escapes us between our fingers.... Nature, antiquity, the earthly and the spiritual. We think we are Gods but we are only apes that have come to more. Gestural, intuitive painting, that lets things happen and rests on what appears. Taking advantage of the accident and accepting the consequences. The need to tell things, to leave a mark, to understand the world, which is always modern and ancient. The work is delivered without stretcher (professional packaging, rolled in a tube). Your local framer must restretch it and mount it on a frame. The indicated measurements are for the painting once stretched and mounted on a frame. The actual canvas dimensions are larger to allow mounting. Signed by hand on the back. Includes certificate of authenticity.
