Rare final issue of the 102nd volume of the renowned scientific journal Mathematische Annalen. The issue contains the original journal publication of Albert Einstein's significant contribution to the unified field theory. In this work Einstein attempted to unite gravitation and electromagnetism using the Riemannian metric and teleparallelism in a single mathematical theory. The contribution is fully contained on pages 685 to 697. Mathematische Annalen were founded by Alfred Clebsch and Carl Neumann, continued by Felix Klein, and at the time of this issue edited by David Hilbert. An interesting collectible for lovers of mathematics, physics, and the history of science, as well as for collectors of early original publications by Albert Einstein.
