It is an exceptional ensemble, complete with its original solid wood wall console matching, an exceedingly rare fact in the art market where consoles are almost always lost or mismatched. Exceptional condition and operation: • Mechanism: Fully original, tested and 100% functional (movement and alarm). The movement starts perfectly and keeps time. The winding keys integrated rotate freely. • Functions: Double antique complication with timekeeping movement (GEHWERK) and alarm/alert function (WECKER). The chime operates clearly and smoothly on a beautiful bell timbre (metal gong with a cup) located under the base of the clock. • Authenticity guaranteed: The white enamel dial (with no major cracks) as well as the brass backplate bear the official Lenzkirch hallmark on the fir branch with the initials A.G.U.
