It was a sunny day, the cobbled streets and stone houses created a picturesque setting that immediately charmed me. I wandered the local market, admiring regional products and sampling a few specialties, such as foie gras and walnuts. Then, suddenly, I decided to go up into a church where an artist had established his residence. The place was fascinating. The works of this artist, imbued with a particular force, were so full of details that they added a unique dimension to my visit to Sarlat.
