This is completely normal for vintage carpets made of natural wool as well as storage and transport. We recommend vacuuming the rug thoroughly after unpacking. Upon request we also offer a professional, ecological carpet washing for €17.50 per m². Delivery time is extended by about 2-4 business days. We also perform carpet repairs professionally - edge tasseling and fringe securing by hand for €27.50 per running meter. Repairs of holes and tears are done by arrangement.
