A white marble mantel clock resting on a rectangular base adorned with gilded bronze friezes; the architectural structure features two small columns supporting a circular enameled dial with Arabic numerals, signed “Hubert Sarton à Liège,” topped by a lidded vase with scroll-shaped handles; the ensemble is embellished with finely chased gilt-bronze mounts and earthenware medallions decorated with figures in the Wedgwood style, characteristic of the Louis XVI style, late 18th century; the front glass is missing.
