the glass body pear-shaped and on plain spreading foot, engraved with water flowers and foliage, the foot and rim each with a beaded and fluted mount, the flat hinged cover chased with lily pads and applied with a flower, the thumbpiece formed as a bud, hammered to simulate water 26cm high Provenance: with Marks Antiques, 49 Curzon Street, London, 3 March 2004.
