Vintage A. Staub & Co. Napoléon Cognac – 0.75 L – 40% – Sealed Bottle Vintage bottle of A. Staub & Co. Napoléon Cognac, 0.75 litre, 40% vol., produced in France and originally imported into Italy. The bottle appears to be unopened and still retains its original closure and Italian tax strip/seal around the neck. The tax strip is marked “Imposta Fabbricazione Acquavite” and “da litri 3/4” and shows considerable ageing and wear. The bottle has a distinctive vintage design, with an embossed “S” monogram in the glass, a Napoléon medallion on the neck and the original decorative front label featuring the imperial eagle. Condition: The bottle is in good overall condition considering its age. The main label is complete and clearly legible, although it shows staining, discolouration and age-related wear. The neck labels and tax seal show heavier deterioration and staining. The closure appears intact and the bottle appears never to have been opened, “original tax strip still present”. The liquid level is shown clearly in the photographs and appears very good for an old bottle. Details: • Producer: A. Staub & Co. • Type: Napoléon Cognac • Origin: France • Capacity: 0.75 L • Alcohol: 40% vol. • Vintage Italian tax strip/seal present • Original labels and closure • Bottle appears unopened An interesting collectible vintage Cognac, particularly suitable for collectors of old spirits, historic bottles and French Cognac. Dating: The bottle retains its original Italian State tax strip marked “Imposta Fabbricazione – Acquavite di Vino” and “da litri 3/4”. This type of Italian tax strip is documented as being in use between 1967 and 1977, suggesting that the bottle was imported/bottled for the Italian market during this period. Please study all photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the description and show the exact condition of the bottle, labels, seal and liquid level. Due to the age of the bottle and unknown storage history, the condition of the contents cannot be guaranteed. Vintage bottle of Courvoisier V.S.O.P. Cognac, “The Brandy of Napoleon”, produced in France. An attractive old bottling of Courvoisier presented in the classic dark green glass bottle, with “COURVOISIER COGNAC FRANCE” embossed in the glass near the base. The original front label is still present and clearly displays COURVOISIER – V.S.O.P. – “The Brandy of Napoleon” – Cognac. The label also bears Italian import information for CEDAL S.p.A., Milano. The bottle has an old Italian fiscal seal over the closure, marked “d’altri 3/4” and numbered 0633. The capsule and fiscal seal remain in place, as shown in the photographs. The neck also retains the Courvoisier label referring to the historic Royal Warrant / appointment to the late King George VI. Condition: The bottle is in vintage condition with visible signs of age and storage. The main paper label shows ageing, staining, fading and some wear, while the neck wrapping and fiscal seal show deterioration and wear consistent with their age. The bottle appears unopened, with the closure and fiscal strip still present. Please carefully examine all photographs, as they form an integral part of the description.
