A "Rock-A-Doodle" Color Key Concept.

(Bluth, 1992) An original background color key concept from the animated film "Rock-A-Doodle" featuring Edmond watching Chanticleer's procession towards his helicopter. The concept painting was created at the studio and used during the development process. Don Bluth Productions uniquely used these concepts not only to develop the scene's color palette, style, and emotion, but he also used these panels as storyboards to visualize the full story development. Measuring 5" x 8" overall, with the image area measuring 4.75" x 7.75", the background color key concept is in very good condition with light wear from original studio use.
