(WED, 1977) A rare Audio-Animatronic Maintenance Manual created by WED/MAPO Technical Publications for Imagineers and Park Cast Members tasked with maintaining the many Audio-Animatronic performers at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. This first printing of the cardstock-bound 39-page manual contains an overview of the systems, guides to maintenance procedures, troubleshooting malfunctions in Audio-Animatronics, as well as information on the standard movements of the figures supported by detailed diagrams. It provides a rare glimpse behind-the-scenes at one of the most magical elements of the Disney Parks experience. Measuring 5” x 3.75”, the piece is in fine condition with minor surface wear and slight staining to the edges of the cover.
