A RARE AND DESIREABLE DIVISION ONE BUTTON

1 Large 19th century picture button with a pictorial border. The Asian design on this button is not uncommon and can be found on other buttons, but the border is another matter. This hand hammered beautifully made two color metal button has a snake border which is quite unusual. The detail in the central design along with the two color brass and silvered areas, the hand hammered base and the snake border certainly adds to its scarcity.
