A.R. Penck (after) - Vergleich I - Contempory Artprint - 70 x 50 cm - 1990s

Iconic art print after A. R. Penck – “Vergleich I” Available is a high-quality art print of a characteristic work by the renowned German artist A. R. Penck. A. R. Penck is one of the central representatives of the neo-expressionist movement (the “New Wild”) and among the formative artists of post-war European art. His works are internationally established and maintain a steady demand in the contemporary art market. The motif “Vergleich I” exemplifies Penck’s unmistakable visual language. His so-called “Standard” figures – strongly reduced, schematic signs – serve as universal visual codes while conveying social and political content. It is precisely these iconic, pictogram-like representations that are among Penck’s most sought-after motifs, as they convey his artistic idea of a simple, immediate yet profound visual language particularly clearly. The art print was produced as a high-quality offset print on thick, sturdy paper and impresses with its clear, high-contrast portrayal. The format of about 70 × 50 cm gives the work a strong visual presence and makes it an ideal statement piece – for both contemporary art collectors and modern, design-oriented interiors. Published by Kunstverlag Art Edition Fils and properly stored, the work is in flawless condition. An iconic motif from one of the most important German contemporary artists with high recognition value. Details: - Artist: A.R.
