A PAIR OF MID CENTURY BEAUTIFUL GLASS VASES Two Art Glass Vases – Le Verre Français “Charder” & David Levy An impressive lot of two highly decorative art glass vases from different periods. The first is a French Art Deco cameo glass vase by Le Verre Français / Charles Schneider, circa 1920s–1930s. Tall elongated form in rich orange-red glass with stylized vertical floral decoration, flared rim and rounded foot. Signed “Charder” on the body and engraved “Le Verre Français” on the foot. The second is a dramatic David Levy studio art glass vase, dated 1998, featuring a vibrant green tapering body raised on a black glass stem and circular foot. Applied black glass prunts and sweeping handles support two whimsical yellow-green stylized birds with long descending tails. Signed and dated on the underside “David Levy 1998.” A striking pairing of French Art Deco and late-20th-century studio art glass, each displaying bold color, distinctive sculptural form and identifiable artist/maker signatures.
