A large silver cloche from the Government Service of Kharkiv

A large silver cloche from the Government Service of Kharkiv Circular, scalloped cloche with several tiered sections; the body decorated with a continuous laurel wreath and palmette frieze, surmounted by a large vase-shaped finial. Inside, a dot-engraved inventory mark “X” for Kharkiv and “P:3”. Additionally, a stamped inventory number “1” from the Winter Palace in St Petersburg. Height 23 cm; weight 1,493 g. Augsburg, marks of Christian II Drentwett, 1779 - 1781.
