A Group of Four NTSC LaserDisc Feature Films Including Drugstore Cowboy

A collection of four vintage LaserDisc films, presented in their original graphic cardstock sleeves. These 12-inch optical discs represent a significant chapter in the chronicles of home cinema, predating the rise of the DVD. The first record in this quartet is Drugstore Cowboy, a 1989 production starring Matt Dillon and Kelly Lynch, directed by Gus Van Sant for Avenue Pictures. The sleeve is marked with the logos of International Video Entertainment (IVE) and Image Entertainment. The reverse features a printed endorsement from critics Siskel & Ebert and indicates the disc is in Extended Play - Full-Feature format. Second is the 1988 film Daddy's Boys, directed by Joseph Minion and starring Daryl Haney and Laura Burkett. The sleeve bears the LaserVideoDisc and LaserVision logos, alongside the mark for RCA/Columbia Pictures Home Video. Third is Dominick & Eugene, a 1988 Orion Pictures production starring Tom Hulce, Ray Liotta, and Jamie Lee Curtis. The sleeve displays the Orion Home Video and Image Entertainment logos. Like the first, it is designated as Extended Play - Full-Feature. The final piece is the 1993 thriller Malice, directed by Harold Becker and starring Alec Baldwin, Nicole Kidman, and Bill Pullman. This Castle Rock Entertainment production is presented in a Widescreen Edition sleeve, featuring the logos for New Line Cinema and Image Entertainment. The reverse includes a printed chapter index for the viewer. All four items are NTSC format, intended for the North American market. Dimensions: 12.5"W x 12.5"H Weight: 2.64 lb.
