A DIVISION ONE ORNATE JEWLED BUTTON

1 Large 19th C. brass with purple pastes & purple enamel border. We find this button to be an incredibly striking and beautiful example of the Art Nouveau period. The central design of flowing palm fronds are accented with deep purple faceted paste jewels. The border design of Champleve enamel is brilliantly beautiful in its own right with the colors of purple and blue-green Basse Taille enamel. Striking and Gorgeous indeed.
