A 19th century needlework sampler by Eliza Watherston, aged 11 years. Worked with a religious verse within a floral cartouche and a large embroidered motif of a basket of flowers below, glazed and framed, sampler 28cm x 36cm. Condition; the fine linen is slightly stained in places and the overall sampler has faded with age and sun. The outer frame is damaged and worn. It would enhance the sampler to be remounted and reframed.
