2pc Sterling China Royal Viking Line Mid-Century Modern Gilt Porcelain

Sterling China Company vitreous china cup and saucer set, manufactured in Wellsville, Ohio. The cup features a cylindrical form with a square-shouldered handle, a white upper portion decorated with a gold-gilt Royal Viking Line logo, and an embossed diamond-lattice textured lower section finished in a blue-gray glaze. The matching saucer displays a broad blue-gray rim band accented by gold-gilt concentric circles and a gilded outer edge. The base of the saucer bears a printed mark of the text STERLING CHINA and WELLSVILLE, O. U.S.A., with a Q 7 date code. A hand-painted red monogram HA is also present on the saucer base.
