Set of 24 antique English silver plate lunch dessert knives and forks, circa 1853, Martin Hall & Co. The Service comprises 12 knives and 12 forks, tapered quadrilateral handles; the handles, tines and blades all engraved with stylised foliate, wriggle work and geometric decoration. All pieces with mark for Martin Hall & Co and Registration Patent mark for February 20th 1853. Measures: Length of knife: approximately 7 5/8 inches. Length of fork: approximately 6 ¾ inches.
