2023 MasJullien "Blanc de Raisins Blancs" - Languedoc - 3 Bottles (0.75L)

With Blanc de Raisins Blancs 2023, Mas Jullien offers a great white wine from the Languedoc, both generous and animated by a beautiful freshness. Made by Olivier Jullien, this IGP Hérault wine highlights the white Carignan from old vines, combined with Chenin and Grenache Blanc, as well as a small share of other grape varieties. The grapes come from parcels around Jonquières and Saint-Privat, on soils of calcareous gravel with subsoils richer in clays and marls. This terroir diversity nourishes the wine’s character: a full, silky texture, balanced by a lively and precise frame. On the nose and palate, the wine evokes flowers, citrus fruits and white- or yellow-fleshed fruits, with a persistent, fresh finish. A gastronomy wine, expressive without heaviness, which will pair at table with grilled or steamed fish, shellfish and crustaceans, poultry or white meat. Already appealing after aeration, this vintage can also evolve in the cellar and gain complexity over the years. The aging indications vary by source: best to store it in good conditions and enjoy it according to your preferences, young for its fruity éclat or after a few years for a more evolved expression.
