Côte-Rôtie Coeur de Combard 2023 (magnum) The Cœur de Combard stands out with its deep ruby-red color and remarkable intensity. Produced exclusively from the volcanic terroir of the Combard vineyard, this Côte-Rôtie reveals powerful aromas of black fruits, violet, and spices. On the palate, it is elegant and refined, with velvety tannins and a beautiful mineral tension. Notes of blackberry, black pepper, and a subtle smoky character unfold through a long, precise, and harmonious finish. This wine seduces with its depth, complexity, and accessibility, while retaining outstanding aging potential. It is made predominantly from Syrah with a touch of Viognier and aged for 24 months in oak barrels. Food and wine pairings: Cœur de Combard pairs beautifully with mushroom risotto, roast leg of lamb, roasted pork chop, and other refined meat dishes.
