This dry white wine embodies the richness and diversity of the Châteauneuf terroir: parcels of old interplanted vines, where the appellation’s historic grape varieties coexist, on soils of rolled pebbles, lime fragments, safres and clays. The blend of Boisrenard blanc 2022 relies principally on Clairette, Roussanne and Grenache blanc, complemented notably by Bourboulenc and small proportions of other white varieties from the appellation. This interplanting gives the wine great complexity: Clairette adds finesse and length, Roussanne develops floral notes and considerable depth, while Grenache blanc brings generosity and body on the palate. At first glance, the wine displays a beautiful golden robe with bright highlights. The nose offers aromas of white peach, white flowers, citrus zest, stone, and subtle honeyed and spicy touches. On the palate, the attack is both rich and tense: the fruit is dense, the texture velvety, supported by integrated acidity and a persistent, saline, mineral finish. Vinified and aged in oak foudres, this Châteauneuf-du-Pape white benefits from a measured élevage that preserves the purity of the fruit while adding structure and depth. Harvesting is manual, with rigorous sorting in the vines, gentle pressing, and co-fermentation in foudres. The Châteauneuf-du-Pape Boisrenard blanc 2022 is a gastronomic wine par excellence. It will pair elegantly with roasted poultry or poultry in a creamy sauce, a fish in a salt crust, a mushroom risotto, Provençal cuisine, or even aged goat cheese. Served between 12 and 14 °C, it will reveal all its aromatic finesse and balance.
