Jeb Dunnuck : 91/100 The Wine Cellar Insider : 92/100 Beautifully perfumed, the 2022 Châteauneuf du Pape is only 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 15% Mourvèdre, 5% Muscardin which perhaps accounts for why it shows off more pretty spice notes than cherry fruit. Gorgeous cassis, blackberries, peppery herbs, and violet notes all emerge from this medium to full-bodied effort, which has wonderful tannins and remarkable purity and freshness, especially in the vintage. Not yet bottled, it will certainly be an outstanding wine and is well worth seeking out. Drink from 2024-2035
