The label pays homage to the grape’s origins and its adaptation to new terroirs, with Catena Zapata at the forefront of its expression in South America. At high altitude in Mendoza, Cabernet Sauvignon develops a unique profile: combining ripeness with freshness, structure with elegance. Through decades of research, the Catena family has identified the ideal vineyard sites to achieve this balance. PRODUCER Founded in 1902, Bodega Catena Zapata is widely regarded as the pioneer of fine wine in Argentina. Under Nicolás Catena Zapata and Laura Catena, the estate has revolutionised Argentine wine through high-altitude vineyard research, helping redefine the global perception of South American wines.
