It originates from the Turriga Estate in the Selegas-Piscina Trigus area, where the vineyards sit at an altitude of 230 meters above sea level. The terrain is predominantly calcareous, featuring a medium-textured soil rich in pebbles and stones, interspersed with layers of fragmented rock. The climate is typically Mediterranean—characteristic of Sardinia—with mild winters and limited rainfall, followed by very hot, breezy summers. The grapes are harvested by hand between October and November, followed by a winemaking process that prioritizes careful grape selection. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 28–32°C, accompanied by a maceration period of approximately 16–18 days and the effective use of the *délestage* technique. This is followed by an aging period of at least 18–24 months in new French oak barriques, and finally, a further 12–14 months of bottle refinement.
