Château Élisée 2019 – Pomerol AOP – Red Bordeaux wine – 3 x 75 cl Bronze Medal, Macon Wine Competition Discover Château Élisée Pomerol, a red wine from Appellation d'Origine Protégée (AOP) issued from one of the most prestigious terroirs in Bordeaux. Produced mainly from 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet, it expresses the richness and elegance characteristic of the great wines of Pomerol. Its sandy terroir resting on a layer of iron crust gives the wine finesse, depth and balance. It pairs perfectly with red meats, game, dishes in sauce, aged cheeses and gastronomic meals. Blend: 95% Merlot – 5% Cabernet From the prestigious Bordeaux vineyard Typical Pomerol terroir (sandy soil with ferruginous subsoil) Aged and bottled at the château Alcohol: 13.5% vol. Tasting notes: Deep robe with ruby reflections. The nose reveals aromas of ripe dark fruits, plum and cherry, accompanied by subtle spicy notes. The palate is round, generous and balanced, with silky tannins and a fine length.
