Crozes-Hermitage "La Guiraude" vintage 2009, produced by the renowned winegrower Alain Graillot in the Northern Rhône Valley Particularity: La Guiraude is the emblematic and top-tier cuvée of the estate, produced only in great vintages from a selection of the best barrels. The 2009 vintage is particularly renowned for its concentration and richness. It offers notes of ripe black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry), pepper, licorice, as well as evolved hints of leather, smoked meat, and black olive. The Crozes-Hermitage "La Guiraude" 2009 by Alain Graillot received a score of 93/100 from Robert Parker (The Wine Advocate, December 2011).
