1994 Renault Clio 1.4 RT No reserve - 3,846 km from new! - Clear history, manuals, provisional registration certificate - Higher-powered, well-equipped version - No reserve Positioned just below the very luxurious Baccara model in the Clio range, the 1.4 RT was an up-market version and was fitted as standard with an electric sunroof, front electric windows, alloy wheels, power steering, remote central locking, fog lamps and an audio system. Its engine produced 80bhp, making it lively and pleasant to drive, helped by its well-designed running gear. This example is one such model. Sold new on 17 October 1994 by the Renault dealer at Chennevières-sur-Marne, as its service book confirms, it was registered two days later in the Val-de-Marne. The various safety inspection reports show the progression of its mileage until it was bought by its current owner in 2013. Since then, he has applied himself to keeping the car in perfect condition, driving it as little as possible. In May 2024, when the car had covered a total of 3,831km, the timing belt was replaced and the engine oil changed. In exceptional, near-new condition, the Clio comes with its order form, original sales invoice, bills, reports from old safety inspections, the box of spare bulbs and even the box for the locking wheel nuts! Named ‘Car of the Year’ when it came out in 1991, the Clio left its mark on several generations; this up-market example with its perfect documentation and exceptionally low mileage is assured of its place as a future classic. Impact on VAT: As the vehicle has been driven less than 6,000 kilometers, it can be considered “as new” for VAT purposes in certain European countries.
