1993 Vega Sicilia, Tinto Valbuena 5 - Ribera del Duero Reserva - 1 Bottle (0.75L) Presenting a nice bottle of 1993 Valbuena 5 with a very good base neck fill level. Production: 99.792 Btls - Bottle number #52.706. Drinking perfectly now but also plenty of aging potential still. Bottle has been kept in a wine fridge. Grape Varieties: Blend is primarily composed of 80% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo), complemented by 10% Merlot and 10% Malbec. Aging: As its "5° Año" (5th Year) name indicates, it undergoes a rigorous aging process of five years between oak barrels and the bottle before its original commercial release. A powerful and elegant wine on the nose, with highly integrated old wood notes, toast, and spices. On the palate, it stands out for its balance, savory passage, and a subtle touch of acidity.
