This nostalgic and rare collectible is an absolute must-have for lovers of vintage World Cup memorabilia. At the time the international market was just beginning to experience the sticker revolution, Bergmann in Germany was a true pioneer in the field of sports collecting albums. This iconic album breathes pure nostalgia; the large black-and-white and color photographs had to be carefully pasted into the album by hand in those days. This album fully captures the legendary, sun-drenched 1970 World Cup in Mexico. It includes the qualified national teams that competed for the coveted original Jules Rimet Trophy. In addition to detailed player pictures per country and information on the host cities and stadiums, this unique historical document captures the pure, raw atmosphere of top football from the early 1970s, presented in a beautiful historical and German-language context.
