1969 Russ Jackson Grey Cup 10k Presentation Ring

Offered here is a presentation ring made to commemorate the 1969 Grey Cup victory by the Ottawa Roughriders. Made in Russ Jackson's name, the ring was likely produced well after the Grey Cup victory as a presentation token although no proof of ownership by Jackson exists. Russ Jackson played a central role in Ottawa’s 29–11 victory over Saskatchewan in the 1969 Grey Cup, throwing a Grey Cup-record four touchdown passes. The game marked the final appearance of his CFL career, and Jackson was named the game’s Most Valuable Player as the Rough Riders captured their second consecutive championship. The ring's gold and diamonds have been tested. The ring is engraved on the inner band "Jackson No. 12". The ring is a size 11, weighs 10g and is 10k Gold.
