1965 Federal Trade Commission transcript of Topps Chewing Gum antitrust ruling (EX). Highly interesting and historial printed transcript of the landmark 1965 Federal Trade Commission ruling in In the Matter of Topps Chewing Gum, Inc. (Docket No. 8463), capturing the exact legal text that cemented Topps' dominance over the baseball card industry. Official printed copy, dated April 20, 1965, spans (120+) pages with background, visual exhibits on Topps card products, as well as the 1962 FTC complaint charging Topps with creating and maintaining a monopoly over the baseball card market. The ruling preserved the FTC's reversal of the 1962 antitrust complaint, detailing the reasoning regarding exclusive player contracts tied to bubble gum. It also captures the precise moment Topps secured its unassailable market position prior to the 1980 Fleer antitrust breakthrough. The document, with accompanying baggie labeled "1964/65 Topps FTC Case C16" is in clean, highly readable condition with typical age toning: EX. ($400-$600)
