No registration certificate; no roadworthiness test The Derbi Cabeza de Hormiga, produced around 1960, is a small Spanish motorbike that has become an icon of the Derbi brand. Its nickname, which means ‘ant’s head’, comes from the distinctive shape of its fuel tank. With its simple mechanics and styling typical of Spanish motorbikes of the era, it perfectly epitomises Derbi’s early days in the production of lightweight motorbikes. Today, the Cabeza de Hormiga is a rare vintage motorbike highly sought after by collectors. This particular example, offered at an attractive estimate, is awaiting a service and restoration so it can take to the tarmac once more.
