1941 Walking Liberty Half Dollar. Breen-5182. No AW. Proof-68 * (NGC). CAC.

1941 Walking Liberty Half Dollar. Breen-5182. No AW. Proof-68 * (NGC). CAC. A completely original coin with warm silver-rose central toning that gives way to more vivid crimson-red iridescence in isolated peripheral areas. Boldly reflective, the dies having been highly polished prior to striking, enough so on this reverse so that the designer's initials were inadvertently removed in the process. An exceptionally nice piece and essentially blemish-free, as the certified grade would imply. Provenance: From the Mack C. Chase Collection. PCGS# 6641. NGC ID: 24SP.
