1937 Walking Liberty Half Dollar. MS-67 (PCGS). CAC. CMQ. OGH.

1937 Walking Liberty Half Dollar. MS-67 (PCGS). CAC. CMQ. OGH. Superior quality in a Mint State 1937 half dollar, this dazzling Superb Gem exhibits a silky smooth texture to soft mint frost. Ringed in light peripheral iridescence, both sides also sport sharp to full strike detail that adds even further appeal. As a Philadelphia Mint issue from the late 1930s, the 1937 is one of the more readily obtainable Walking Liberty half dollars in Mint State. It is, however, more challenging to collect than the 1936, 1939 and 1940, while in PCGS/CAC MS-67 the present example is a condition scarcity by any measure. One of our finest offerings for the issue in recent decades, this coin will see spirited bidding as it transitions into another world class cabinet. Provenance: From the Mack C. Chase Collection. PCGS# 6601. NGC ID: 24RR. Click here for certification details from PCGS.
