1925-S Mercury Dime. MS-65 FB (PCGS).

1925-S Mercury Dime. MS-65 FB (PCGS). Although not particularly rare in Mint State for a 1920s Mercury dime with a relatively limited mintage of 5,850,000 pieces, the 1925-S is one of the most challenging issues of the type to locate with overall sharpness of strike. This is a superior quality survivor in all regards, solidly in the Full Bands category with above average peripheral detail and expertly preserved surfaces. Lightly and attractively toned in iridescent champagne-gold, as well, and eagerly awaiting inclusion in an advanced Mercury dime set. Provenance: From the Mack C. Chase Collection. PCGS# 4953. NGC ID: 23HP. Click here for certification details from PCGS.
