15 Vintage Rock-'n-Roll platen – Elvis Presley

This collection provides an excellent picture of the period during which rock-'n-roll developed into an international phenomenon. The collection combines big American names with British artists and showcases different facets of mid-1950s music. Especially the presence of Elvis Presley and three different releases of Bill Haley And His Comets makes this an attractive lot for the collector. From the rougher rock-'n-roll of Bill Haley and Freddie Bell to the more commercial sound of Pat Boone and Andy Williams, there is a lot of variety within one clearly organized collection. Condition: from Very Good Plus (VG+) to Near Mint (NM), with normal signs of wear that fit records of this age. 1 ; Elvis Presley – Love Me Tender / Any Way You Want Me (That's How I Will Be) Label: His Master's Voice – POP. 253 Released: 1956 2 ; Bill Haley And His Comets – (We're Gonna) Rock Around The Clock / Thirteen Women Label: Decca – M 33825 Released: 1954 3 ; Johnny Duncan And The Blue Grass Boys – Last Train To San Fernando / Rock-A-Billy Baby Label: Columbia – DB. 3959 Released: 1957 4 ; Pat Boone – All I Do Is Dream Of You / Beg your pardon Label: London American Recordings – L 683 Released: 1958 5 ; Tommy Steele And The Steelmen – Singing The Blues / Rebel Rock Label: Decca – F.10819 Released: 1956 6 ; Bill Haley And His Comets – The Saints Rock 'N Roll / R-O-C-K Label: Brunswick – 05565 Released: 1956 7 ; Andy Williams – Butterfly / It doesn't take very long Label: London American Recordings – L 599 Released: 1957 8 ; Pat Boone – Tutti-Frutti / I'll Be Home Label: London Records – HL.8253 Released: 1955 9 ; David Seville And His Orchestra – Armen's Theme / carousel in Rome Label: London Records – HL-U. 8359 Released: 1957 10 ; Jim Dale – Be My Girl / You Shouldn't Do That Label: Parlophone – R. 4343 Released: 1957 11 ; Freddie Bell And The Bellboys – Giddy-Up-A Ding Dong / I've Said It And I'm Glad Label: Mercury – 957005 Released: 1957 12 ; Terry Dene With The Malcolm Lockyer Group – Start Movin' / Green Corn Label: Decca – F.10914 Released: 1957 13 ; Pat Boone – Love Letters In The Sand / Bernardine Label: Versailles – 1.011 Released: 1957 14 ; The Diamonds – Words Of Love / Don't Say Goodbye Label: Mercury – 71128 Released: 1957 15 ; Bill Haley And His Comets – See You Later, Alligator / The Paper Boy Label: Brunswick – 82 870 Released: 1956
