The specimen from this batch is a full-size, large slice of EUCRITE found in Libya in 2022, classified under the official name Jikharra 001. In it we can appreciate its beautifully brecciated lithology, being a recrystallized eucrite. The lithic clasts consist of calcic plagioclase and aggregates of fine-grained plagioclase crystals. Thanks to studies, it has been verified that the HED meteorites (Howardites, Eucrites, and Diogenites) originate from the asteroid Vesta, which makes them differentiated rocky meteorites, that is, achondrites.
