Property from a Private Collection, New York City Description: Gardner Russian Porcelain Floral Tea Set, Moscow, comprising 6 teacups (one broken and repaired), 6 saucers (two with star-form cracks), size 7 1/4 in. plates (one with small hairline crack on rim), a teapot, cream, lidded sugar and a 5 7/8 in. bowl, teapot marked in red, the rest unmarked. Provenance: purchased at Sotheby's Arcade, 25 February, 1999, 'The Dining Room', sale 1643, lot 62, for $622.Measurements: Height: teapot 5 in. x Width: 8 in. x Depth: 4 in. Condition: Overall good condition, all with general light wear and scratches, rubbing to gilt, particularly on handles and rims, see description for details.
