A 1998 American Silver Eagle one-ounce proof dollar minted in .999 fine silver at the Philadelphia Mint, presented in its original U.S. Mint navy velvet display case. The obverse features Adolph A. Weinman's renowned Walking Liberty design, depicting Liberty advancing toward the dawn with laurel and oak branches in hand, the stars and stripes flowing around her figure, inscribed with the motto IN GOD WE TRUST and the date 1998. The reverse showcases John Mercanti's heraldic eagle with shield, olive branch, and arrows, beneath thirteen stars and marked with the "P" mintmark. Exhibiting deeply mirrored fields with frosted relief. Velvet case measures: 3.25"L x 2.75"W x 0.75"H. Coin diameter: 40.6 mm. This item has its original box. Box measures: 3.5"L x 3"W x 1"H.
