Kerry Taylor Auctions

Kerry Taylor has an impressive resume; at the end of the 70s she begun her career at Sotheby’s, and became at the age of 21 one of their youngest auctioneer. She brought back, and became the director of, their textile and costume auctions. Kerry Taylor is still working as a consultant at Sotheby’s, but since 2003 she also runs her own auction firm Kerry Taylor Auctions. 

The London based auction house has specialised in costumes, textile and vintage fashion, but also befitting gadgets, such as fashion illustrations and accessories. Semi-annually they hold their mighty auctions Passion for Fashion, and in between them several smaller auctions.
